Dr. Auzoux made the orangutan skull with brains van papier mache in 1873. The brains are situated in the skull which is unique. On the top of the skull you find the discription “crane et cerveau d’orang curton plate par auzoux 1873 a.8.No 206”. High 21 cm and in mint condition.
