An English J.B.Dancer, Manchester 3,5 inch refracting telescope on a tripod mid 19th century. The telescope had a finder in parallel having slide focusing, single eyepiece to 2 drawer main focusing. Dancer signature to tube end engraved on brass, further laquered brass fittings, tube body textured brown leather, on tappering brass column and turned polished wood boss to top of chevron-rack wood tripod. The tube length 112 cm (44 inch).
