The Cape Cod Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer uses the same deep brass case to match the Cape Cod Clock and Cape Cod Tide Keeper. The 6” polished deep brass case and brushed silver face make an elegant addition to any home decor. The Indoor temperature comes from a sensor built into the instrument, and the Outdoor temperature comes for a probe mounted outside. The outside probe can also be mounted in any remote location like a greenhouse or garage! With the push of a button, the instrument will switch from Inside Temperature to the Outside or Remote Temperature. A second button will show you the Highest, Lowest or Actual temperature for each location! The Outside probe should be installed on the NORTH side of the house, minimum of 4’ above the ground, and away from any external heat sources such as louvers, vents, etc. Overall Dimensions: 6″ Diameter x 2″Deep Including Glass Handcrafted on Cape Cod.
